I'm doing a simulation on a microstrip line at 40 ghz, and when I look at the impedance output (plot results -> Z parameters) i get the attached graph. Is there any way i can get rid of the resonances that occur at the quarter wavelength points (the material i'm working with is 10 mil RO 4350, so 40 ghz*sqrt(2.62 relative permittivity)/4 is the quarter wavelength in the material, which is about 16.2 ghz, which is shown in the graph. Is there any point to getting rid of the resonances? I thought it might help me get better S11 results, but I'm not sure.
