What is the mean of Dynamic range(condition: -60dB FS@1KHz, extrapolated to full scale), how to simulate it? need refer to THD or SNR?

Another question, about THD(condition: -6dB FS@1KHz), after getting a THD by inputting a half swing signal, then need adding additional 6dB to this THD?

The issue is mentioned only for simulation, how to simulate the DR(dynamica range)? should it refered to the THD or SNR?( in other word, what kind of simulation should be used , transient analysis+fft or noise analysis?)
