Guys, anyone tried 8051 programmer using PIC microcontroller ? i want to built one ! is it worth trying ? Anyone has idea or suggestion ?
what about the PC front end tool, can i modify any existing tool ?

First could you explain a bit about whatz wrong with present designs which are working or available. Why did you choose particularely choose the PIC micro to be the firmware and not the 89 series , AVR?
 

well, there is nothing wrong with the present system, Mr.Pranam77. And i m not against it.
I just wanna built my own 8051 programmer, that's all. And i m not particular about PIC uc, just because i m used with it and i've a pic programmer too. So it'll be easy for me to adapt. Thats y!

Any idea ? can i use SPI to program the flash ?
