modulator 8051

hello friends i wanted to ask can 8051 be used to frequency modulate a signal and then transmit it.plz do send schematics if you have any on this topic i also intend to demodulate the signal at the recieving end
bye

Hi,

It makes no sense to modulate your signal using only the 8051. Try to use a pair of low-cost PLLs. Using CD4046, for example, you can achieve buadrates as high as 4800. I will try to upload a schematic asap.
