i need to make a 4 bit transmitter and receiver,which technique is best suitable..give some details.

transmission speed??

maybe you can try RS232.

NO.

I m saying that i have a 4bit parallel data ehich is coming from parallel port,i want to transmitt it.what i do??the range is 100 meters.
technique means either fsk,psk or ask???

and also frequency at which we have to transmit?

You need it wired or wireless
However you should use microcontroler and serial communication
