Hello,

I'm working with 9.2.3 OR*CAD.

When I make a touch pannel with silicon keys I need to make a footprint with 2 padstacks with complicated shape. With CorelDraw I can make easy any shapes with exactly dimensions, but I can't see a way how to import from Corel to Library Manager.

Currently I export CorelDraw picture to DXF format. Then I import it to Layout from DXF. So I have my original picture like obstacles. Then I define the padstaks of the key like small circules and manually position the imported from CorelDraw images of the keys.... not elegant at all, but works.

Would be great if I could do this into Library Manager directly.... Is there some way to import shapes (obstacles) into Library Manager?

Dear...

Relly I don't know how to create complicate shape in Orcad. because so long to use it, but for complex design, I Use Cadence PSD or Mentor Expedition WG, they are a powerfull for PCB design, everything what you get is what you see.

Best Regards

In fact I'm using ORCAD 9.2.3 that is a part of Cadence PSD. Don't tell me that in Cadence PSD there is such tool.... Actually from Cadence PSD I use only Specctra, Capture and Layout. Maybe the cure for my problems is Allegro?
