i have a project to connect a mobile with MCu and the problem now that most the new mobile phones has a USB cable.

firstly i connect the mobile with PC with USB cable and send the AT command and every thing is perfect.

now i want to connect the mobile with the MCU. Is it possible to convert the USB cable to serial port ??????

if any one have any idea to solve this problem please send it to me

many thanks

Please mention type of your mobile.

Some new mobile actually use normal serial interface, the USB cable is a USB to serial converter.

Hi
You may need to keep some pins on your phones site at high logig level.
check the phone's connections.

Normally you need Tx, Rx and ground. Plus, an extra pin (if needed) to push it high on your phone's site.
