I would like to run a parametric analysis in Cadence, where the values of the sweep variable have no correlation between each other. I would like to have these values in a text file and import them in cadence for the simulation.

Use OCEAN script lang.

Yes, this is what I also found in the Cadence documentation after writing the new topic here... It is not so automatic since I need to copy and paste the values from the text file to the OCEAN script every time and then re-load the script. I was thinking of a way of feeding the simulator with the file directly (some kind of import) and then let it read it, but for now it is OK with OCEAN anyway.
Thanks for your help.

Not all is so simple. U can write program on SKILL lang. that will read values from text file and perform simulation, and also will write results in another file. It's simple task, u can do this. For simulation of ocn script use "ocean < ur_script.ocn" in console. Best regards.
