pfd noise

For Behavior simulation of close loop Charge pump based PLL, PFD & charge pump noise parameter should be defined.
And I don't know how to simulate single block PFD or charge pump noise by SpectreRF. Who have experience about that pls help me.

simulate charge pump noise

I think the most detailed discussion about PFD noise is there

I use now a method w/o spectreRF for PFD characterisation. That is because the filter after the chargepump filtering high frequency noise. The current source timing control is impacted by phase noise and this is the point where spectreRF analysis should end. All other effects are linear noise (current noise multiplied by on-time).
