Does any one recommend me software for rf PCB design(not microstrip)
i need to print antennna and spiral inductor on the PCB
:D

Hi, Ramy Gad: I would suggest you to try the IE3D MM080 or IE3D MM081 from Zeland Software Inc. (where I am working). You can download the free evaluation license from www.zeland.com. The IE3D MM08X has an interface to Cadence Allegro. It allows you to automatically create full-3D IE3D models with ports defined from selected critical nets and reference nets from a .brd file. After the process, you have an IE3D model with ports defined and ready for simulation. IE3D is excellent for planar structures with traces and antennas and it can also solve those complicated 3D structures such as wire bonds, vias and solder balls in PCB. It should be very suitabe for you. Regards.

You should try HFSS for 3D or Designer for planar. Both of them are from Ansoft. Good luck.

Let me clarify it. Use HSFF for 3D structures. You can export it to Designer for final analysis. Or if your board is not very complicated, you can remain everything in HFSS. This is my way to handle the design.

Use HFSS to make layout of RF PCB?!?!
