Hi

Could anybuddy do me a favour for this?
I have already made a layout in Autocad 2004 and would like to convert it into Protel se99 PCB file so that I dun need to redraw the layout which is quite tough 4 me coz the layout dimension have too many angle rotation n holes.
Is that possible to do it?

Thanks.pls advise.

Pr0tel99SE will import R14 or earlier Aut0c@d dxf or dwg files. If you have problems importing these files try exploding the drawing in Aut0C@D before you bring it into Pr0tel.

autocard file convert to P*otel pcb file?

IN 99se pcb editor ,import dxf file that export by autocad, keep same unit, example inch.

With Protel 2004 same thing. You go on pcb designer the File>import>dxf

I have problem with importing AutoCad *.dxf file info PCB (Protel 99SE)
Tried different formats *.dxf and still nothing
Any idea ?

Try moving the reference point for your Autocad drawing. Protel expects all of the drawing to be in the positive quadrant. Move your reference point down and to the left so the whole drawing has positive coordinates. Also try exploding your Autocad drawing before import.

This was fixed in later versions of Protel / Altium Designer.
