Hi,

In SPI protocol, what is the importance of the tristate buffer? how it is useful in SPI communication?

I searched for it, but didn't get the exact use of tristate buffer in SPI communication.

Can any one explain about it?

Thanks & Regards,

Chandu.Kurapati

SPI slaves are usually connecting MISO through a tristate buffer, so that multiple slaves can be selected alternatively by multipple slave selects.
