update pcb document

Hello !

I'm a new p*otel user and i have trouble transferring my schematic capture to pcb layout. I read in the manual that there should be an Update PCB Document command, but it's not there in this build, i guess.

So, what could i do ?

P.S.- I have tried under Tools -> Update From Libraries but doesn't pop up the pcb sheet.

Before you transfer your netlist to the PCB, you have to create a bare board with a board outline in the PCB editor and give it a name.

I suggest you read the training document that can be downloaded at:

What you are trying to do is described beginning on page 17.

If you don't have the menu command 'Design>Update PCB Document', there is something wrong with your software installation. I suggest you uninstall, and reinstall.

Yes this Update command doesn't exist in schematic until you create PCB document in project. After that you will see it.

Regards!

I saw it.
Thanks !

I think i do better with OrCAD.. :)
