Hello,

I have a question regarding the DRC warnings I have been getting. I get the following warnings for the same pin -

"Two nets in same schematic have the same name, but there is no off-page connector 3.3_dma_to_mem_data4"

"Net has no driving source 3.3_dma_to_mem_data4"

"Net has fewer than two connections 3.3_dma_to_mem_data4" X2

The last one appears twice. Now I think the problem is that I have multiple schematic pages. So I have a page where one part has the outgoing pin connection and another has a part that receives this connection. That explains the "fewer than two" warning. However, how do I fix this? Shouldn't DRC automatically check all pages?

Also, the if two nets have the same name, why do I need an off page connector? These are the two nets that should be connected right?

Finally, how can the net have no driving source if it can detect that the net goes from one part to another?

Thank you.

Okay so I figured out what the problem was but I am not sure what the best solution is.

I assumed that nets on different schematic pages would automatically connect if I named them the same. After all, that seems logical. So I made off-page connectors and connected single nets like power, ground, and other individual connections.

However, buses do not seem to work in a similar fashion. A bus from one page retains the same net on different pages, but the connections coming out of that bus get renamed. Any ideas how to get around this?

Thank you.
