I'm about to use the FIR compiler IP core and I'm importing my coefficients from Matlab. I want to make an interpolation filter, so I'll specify the Interpolation rate value to be what I want. My question is: should the coefficients be for the upsampled filter, or not? For instance, if I want a RRC filter with 1:150 interpolation that ends up having 900 taps, do I include all 900 taps and also tell the FIR compiler to interpolate by 150?

Thanks,
Ryan

Figured this out on my own. I forgot that upsampling should always proceed filtering and not the other way around, therefore the taps are for the upsampled signal, not the original signal.
