Hi,

I have designed an siw structure in hfss and exported the same to dxf file so as to fabricate in T Tech machine available in our lab. The software used is isopro (most probably 3.0) by t tech co.

The problem is that only vias are been shown in isopro software while importing the dxf file. There is a microstrip line before the SIW structure but is not shown in dxf file. Also, when I open the dxf file in autocad, i can see the whole structure from the top view!

Is there a problem in isopro software or do I need to do something before I export it in dxf file in hfss (I mean am I missing some information that I should take care of before converting it into dxf file).

Also, what difference will it do if I export into dxf file when my co-ordinate axis is at the top of the substrate or when it is at the bottom of the substrate? care is taken to keep XY plane horizontal with respect to structure.
