I mean compensation law in electronics?

In what type of applications you use this law?
I have never heared for it.

may be your mean is about fequency compensation. the goal of frequency compensation is stabilize the system which has a feedback. generally, bandwidth of system is decresed to enhance the phase margin(stability). In the other hand the step response of your system doesn't have overshoot if you compensate yopur system.
