i have a voltage regulator LM7525 with 5 legs. How do i go about connecting it in my circuit, as i have never seen such before. I want to use it in designing a DC power supply to power a load of exactly 12v 2A.

Are you sure it is a LM7525 and not LM2575?
If it is the second one then it is a 1A step down switching regulator with fixed or adjustable output

THANKS. It's LM2575, so, is it not suitable to power a 12V 2A Load! And, how do i connect the LM2575 with the five legs in my circuit!
