Hello, folks. Which brand of el caps do you use in your projects? Choose on of following or add yours. I will be appretiated in any helpful information.
Nichicon
Rubycon
Sanyo
Panasonic
Samsung
Samxon

My choice is Nichicon and Rubycon at moment, thinking to give a chance to Samxon, but need more information. Sanyo good ones, but too expensive when you doing smth with 30+ caps on board
Thanks in advance

Re: Choosing electrolytic capacitors. Which brand?

Nichicon is my favorite, but Sanyo, Panasonic and Rubycon are okay. I buy most of my electrolytics at my local electronic surplus store and usually just try to get anything with a 105° C temperature rating.

Everyone should be aware of the quality problem that has plagued Chinese and Taiwanese capacitors: Capacitor plague - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
