How to select a 4 line display for 16*4 HD44870 LCD?

The function set of HD44780 lcds have only two options i.e two lines disply or one line display...How can i select 4 line display for 16*4 LCD??
 

1684 LCD problem

Hi engr.waqas,
When I need 16*4 display, I use the mikroBASIC compiler, which can write data to 16*4 display using the internal LCD_Out() function.
