I am working on a heartbeat sensor. And I am having difficulties with the sensor chamber using an LDR and a LED. The schematic is the usual one we have seen, but here is is again. Any other schematic and guidance will be appreciated. Thanks

That is the well-known HeMon project.
What problem do you have with it?

The project (look for it in Google) has photos of the LDR/LED part.

Oh. Nigeria? Black skin? Does an LED shine through black skin?
