ac97 how to vhdl

I'm facing in interfacing AC97 codec with FPGA. Its not working..???
Does anybody has AC97 controller interface with FPGA.
I'm working with LM4546 audio codec. I've tried the opencore.org codes, and many others.....???

I think Berkeley Calinx board has this audio codec intrface with FPGA.
Follwoing is the check point doc I am attaching here which is a proof
of this. You can get more help from there!
