Need help finding the right 12vdc timer

Objective: to make a small motor turn a few rotations every 15 seconds.
The power supply is a 12 volt car battery. I need a timer that will send 12 volts to a small motor about every 15 seconds. I want the motor to turn a few rotations and stop. The motor is a 12v, 155 rpm, 0.4 amps, 4.6 stall amps. It might help to see the use of the motor I will be turning www.mudmuncher.net

in simple way use 2 ic's 555 first one in stable mode to get long period 15 sec..
that triger second timer in monostable mode number of rotation here depend on
pulse width of monostable circuit ... abt drive stage for motor u can use any
general pourpese e-mosfet like IFR740,IRF840,etc.

but if u need accurate number of count then ...u must add sensore like microswitch or reed switch to detect number of count ..and its better to
switch to microcontroller.

thank you for the quick reply, I do not totally understand your answer. But would have no problem wiring this timer cicuit with your help. Would you be willing to provide a detail drawing and explain how to change the time delays? you can get my contact info off the attachment in the orginal posting. I would be willing to pay for your help.
