Hi all :):)

I am a very beginner....

For my mUC project... i am using ADC 0808 tooo... it need 500KHz clock pulse.. But i have 10MHz crystal clock for my mUC!

How to divide that 10MHz clock pulse n give it to ADC???

Pls help me... :)

Thanksss

use counter chip cd 4040 or else

use Q4 /Q5 /Q6

but better , use 555 in astable mode

Thanks....

Hi can u ... explain a little more...

wat is that Q4/Q5/Q6???

Y do u say 555 astabble is better???

ADC0808/9 i am used 400-500 times, a good exp abt it.

while driving its clock from xtal , there may be a problem of interfacing of such high frq, signal to the ttl ckts , . still req one chip .

so go for separate clock using 555 , 2 r , 2c, 1 d ....cheap too and can be treble shout easily if there is any problem

it is really helpful thanks guys

555 in astable mode is cheaper and easier, you can calculate the values here:

**broken link removed**

Try Vcc=5; R1=1,2; R2=1,8; C=600

Use the timer/counter module of your micro.
