Hi,
I'm planning to submit a board to several board houses for quotation. However as I'm planning to manually route the board what kind of specifications are pretty general? I'm doing a double sided design with the smallest part being a TQFP44 PIC. The stuff I'm most interested in are

PCB thickness and material (FR4 seems to be standard for low frequency stuff)
Copper thickness
trace widths for digital circuits < 100mA
trace widths for analog signals <500mA
line thickness for silk screen / legend
annular ring width for 0.8mm and 1mm holes

As I said this needs to be a somewhat general estimate so that I don't need to modify the board / baord house quotation.

Cheers

Plated through holes or not?
Number of drill sizes.
Delivery Time.
Cost.
Ensure that you get the Photoplots.

There is a standard PCB specification clasification which will put your desing in one complexity class or in other one.

On the following link press on "drill clasification" and "pattern clasification".
https://www.eurocircuits.com/index....ategory&sectionid=25&id=85&Itemid=260&lang=en

But the cost will not depend only on this but on many aspects as numbers of vias, tru holes, panelisation, silk screen resolution, PCB border shape and so on.

click on "design tips" here (specific tips only for Olimex):
https://www.olimex.com/pcb/index.html

STD spec for a board like this would possibly be:
FR4, 1.6mm thick, 1.0 oz copper (35um), minimum trace width 0.006" (I use 0.008 minimum)

Minimum hole size for via 0.5mm - 1mm pad (smaller gets a cost increase)
For 0.8mm holes - pad size = +.2mmx2 so 1.2mm
For 1.0mm holes - pad size = +.2mmx2 so 1.4mm
These OAR are to meet the spec of my manufacturer but yours may differ.

Line thickness for legend = 0.005" thick, any less and it can often be feint, thicker and it often splodges/spreads.

Ensure that you provide a drawing that details the board dimensions, related to a mounting hole centre. Drill locations & plating.
Plated drill file, non plated drill file & drill size list.
