Gerber or BOM????

Could someone give a simple answer to explain! remember I'm not a eletronics

suppose to go there!

Re: Gerber or BOM????

Hello!

There is NO gerber or BOM. For production you need both.

GERBER- This is file wich is used for production of PCB and it is basicly txt file wich has similar coding as at mechanics CNC machines.

BOM(Bill Of Material) - This is part list where all parts of product are described.

So for production at EMS you need both.

Regards!
