Hi,

I'm working on the battery management for the CAR, but i didn't get how battery charging & discharging is operated in the existing CAR's in the market.

I didn't get any information about this how it is working??? I'm going to use LI-Ion battery, can any one share specific information or document for me.

Thanks & Regards,
Chandu.Kurapati.

Let's take as example toyota prius. Very old and relible hybrid car. Electric engines working as usual bldc motors during acceleration and in case of breaking voltages first goes to rectifier, than to boost converter and only than to battery. Main engine MG2 has 32kW power and secondary MG1 has 16kW. Based on sun gear they can work in parallel and in series. Energy can go in both directions.
