can someone recommend me a good cheap and reliable gprs/gsm modem for arduino uno ?
I am looking for a small lowpower device.
I saw one on web "USB Tri-band GPRS modem /cell phone radio (GSM 900/1800/1900 Mhz) " but they dont make this anymore i think.

thanks

Take a look at SIM900 SIMCOM - not particularly for Arduino but it's easy to interface.
Costs about 15$ on Ebay.

if your arduino has usb, just use normal gsm modem , which you connect to your laptop for net usage.
