LG monitor 1515S - Powersupply board YPLM- M002A Schematic.

Hello,

I need a schematic diagram for powersupply / CCFL inverter board YPLM- M002A. This board is a part of LG monitor 1515S.

I got a schematic on net for LG-1515s, but the ccfl section is completely different form the board I have. (may be the powersupply board might not be YPLM-M002A).

While trying to understand the CCFL inverter part, I found an IC, OZL28GN. Which seems to be pwm and complete controller. I tried hard to find the Datasheet on net but with no sucess.

The monitor is 8 yrs old and so because of ageing, it takes time to start (the Inverter Ckt Part). Not the display part. I can see display working.

So if anybody here has any information on this , pl help me.

Thanks ajeetjoy, The inverter section section does not match the one on my board.

Well, can anybody help me with datasheet of OZL28GN IC, this is used in inverter section.

The current problem is , when you put the monitor on the backlight lits for a moment and then goes off. if we leave it on for sometime ( the ccfl is off but the board is powered on). then after 10 to 15 mins, if you try to switch it ON/OFF it might work properly. So should it be problem with CCFL end of life and protection circuit putting it off or because of Inverter ageing problem. any of you with same past experience, or suggestion.
 

Ok, Struggling hard to find the solution. I got so called equivalent to OZL28GN. The IC is OZ9RR.

I could not understand how the protection circuit works. And I also wish to disable the protection circuit for the rest purpose.

I am assuming that the CCFL are ok, because the CCFL starts to work after some time. I doubt inverter circuit. or the protection circuit that might be creating problem.

If somebody can help me to explain how the protection circuit works, and also how to disable protection circuit for testing purpose, I would be greatly helped.
