hai friends

when i design a block , i did the following steps
1.floorplan the design
2.place some macro blocks
3.cut row for each block
4.then do special routing (sroute)

now i found some error showing that the sroute nets are opened in between each block
with this i face some drc error

how can i fix it or place macro without any open sroute nets

please help me
:-(

Please paste the errors here so that it is easier to know what is the problem.

Thanks.

in this image you can see open circuits at the edges of the macro blocks

I think it is related to the size of the cut row that you defined for each block which cause the P/G wire cannot reach the macro blocks. Please try playing with the value (reducing the cut row size perhaps). I normally use halo around the macro block to avoid cells placement.

can you please guide me with few ideas in placing macros and srounting
