    Question about balun Nothing is different. T4,T5 are 1:1 t-line transformers, The way they are hooked up creates a 4:1 transmision line transformer.

    Look at Steve Maas' Mixer Book. The radial stub is a broadband short @ LO, RF frequency. The transmission lines are inductive to block the RF,LO and pass the IF. So of course it is basically an LPF

    Of course you will never get 0ohms or infinite ohms. The question is how much rejection and/or inertion loss you need at your harmonics.
