    D Latch 74LS374 Problem

Sorry IanP can you describe with more details? perhaps with a simple schematic diagram? My condition is like this. I connect a decade counter 74ls90 with the latch 74ls374 and a bcd to 7 segment decoder 74ls47 and finally the 7 segment display. When i power up the circuit, the circuits start to...

    D Latch 74LS374 Problem

How can i reset a latch of 74LS374? The datasheet can be found at http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheets/90/375622_DS.pdf

Converting a square wave into a fixed DC signal?

What i mean is from a square waveform (say +1V high level and 0V low level) convert to a constant +1V DC waveform as shown in the figure below

    Smoothing a Square wave

I have a square waveform as in the 1st figure which is not a smooth waveform. It has a high peak that i dun want in my real circuit. I want it to be a smooth square waveform as in the 2nd figure. So how am i going to convert the square wave with the peak to a smooth square waveform? Please...

    Frequency Counter and Latch Problem

Suppose i have a frequency and i want to count it by using a decade counter, latch, BCD to 7 segment decoder and finally display the count on 7 segment display. Theoretically if my input frequency to the decade counter is 1Hz, it will count 1 in 1s and if 10Hz, it will count 10 in 1s. My...

Converting a square wave into a fixed DC signal?

Is there any method to convert a square wave signal into a fixed DC signal? Say if i have a +1V high level and 0V low level square wave, how am i going to convert it to a DC level +1V signal? Will it works if using a low pass filter? If yes, how's the circuit looks like and what is the value of...

Voltage to Frequency Converter LM331 Problem

Is low pass filter will give me the perfect DC level signal from a square waveform signal?

Voltage to Frequency Converter LM331 Problem

Ok.. the square wave input wont work for LM331. Can i convert the square wave input to a DC level signal? Say if i have a +1V high level and 0V low level square wave, how am i going to convert it to a DC level +1V signal? Any suggestion so that i can feed this input into my LM331?

Voltage to Frequency Converter LM331 Problem

I think i got what you mean. The input after passing through the and logic and switch is actually same with a square wave input. But since the square wave input is not working, i dun think connecting a AND gate there will make the VFC working properly?

Voltage to Frequency Converter LM331 Problem

Because the input is coming from my output of AD633 analog multiplier which is a square wave. The output of AD633 analog multiplier is converted into frequency. So the input to the frequency converter is a square wave =)

Voltage to Frequency Converter LM331 Problem

Prototyp_V1.0, What you mean by 'you might try to use a simple logic and circuit AFTER the output'?

Voltage to Frequency Converter LM331 Problem

Hi all, I had construct a voltage to frequency converter using LM331. The circuit can be found in Figure 3 in the LM331 datasheet which you can found it at **broken link removed** I use Proteus to simulate through the circuit and it works fine with a DC input signal (0-10V). But when i change...
