Just use mplab c18.
The student edition is free and has no code limitation. Only some limitations in optimizations.
It is a great compiler.
Try it, you will not regret.
Hope it helps.

Re: CPW T-junction
Hello.
There is also another tutorial where they build a microstrip hibrid.
I think you can modify that tutorial and simulate your CPW.
Try first with a simple CPW transmission line and verify if the results agree with the formulas available for the CPW transmission line...
Re: convert <= 5k hertz sinewave with PIC trasmit through
Hello all.
I'd like to introduce another idea.
If you are sure that the wave shape is always the same, i.e., sinewave, I would propose that:
Square your input signal using for example a comparator or a smith-trigger gate as 4093 or...
flexlm system clock setback detected
It is amazing that Globetroter is inspecting user's personal files the way they want and nothing happens.
I think there is room for people to get quite a lot of money by suing FlexLM/Globetrotter in Justice. The money gotten could go into millions of...
Radiation Resistance of short straight antenna radiating into free space is given by the following relation:
Rr = 80 PI (h/Lambda0)^2
Lambda0 = C0 / f
Rr - radiation resistance - this is equivalent to the real part or the antenna input impedance.
h - Antenna height
C0 - Speed of light
f -...

Hello Vish.
Just take a look is this discussion:
There are papers that I proposed in this subject. You will also find the famous basic program that can make this design much easier for you. At least as a starting hint.
There are also references for tutorials...

how to measure dielectric constant
Hello all.
It is very easy to get the dielectric constant at low frequencies.
Just take a non-etched 2 layer square peace of your PCB material. Use a simple multimeter (like Fluke) which is able to measure capacitance. Measure the capacitance of your peace of...
Hello blueroomelectronics and others.
What about development tools for dsPIC? Can mplab and microchip c compiler be used also for dsPIC?
Concerning debuging tools: I have already seen that my ICD2 recognizes some dsPICs.
Thanks in advance.

Just to remamber:
1mA - strong shock.
4mA - danger of hearth stop.
10ma - hearth fibrillation (hearth stop and doesn't start anymore).
A transformer that might give up to 2mA could be the one from color TVs, take the ones used for large screens....
BU208 would be the transistor that would do...
Has anyone around tried to make a digital filter using PIC18f as it is shown in application note an854 from microchip?
My impression is that if it works, it can be a quite cheap dsp...
Greetings.

Normally antennas for this frequency range are made using an inductor in series with a reduced length rod.
Long ago I used to repair CB (citizen band)and other types of amateur radios. I was very much used to those antennas with size around 1.5m or less.
As you can see the lambda/4 is about 2.8m...
Hello people.
I am looking for the best embedded linux arround.
My main requirements are:
1- Must be cheap.
2- Must have largest possible memory for cheap price.
3- Must have Ethernet interface.
5- Must have a web server and be able to run CGI scripts that I can change myself depending on the...
