    Cyclone FPGA embedded configuration...

    if you dont have microcontroller on your board you should go for flash->cpld method.Its better if microcontroller is on the board to use it for configuring the FPGA( you can save Cpld)

    if you use two D ff's in series then problem can be solved.If the edge of stream and clock are same first ff may go into metastable state but, before the second ff latches this this first ff would have come out of metastable state.Metastable state won't last for long duartion.

    system gates is equivalent of the logic utilized interms of 2 input NAND gates. There will equivalent for each of the components used in the logic(flip flops, ram , mux....).

    Re: fpga kit hi i want to buy one having the SDRAM ( prefarably having Altera FPGA). If anyone having such board,please mention the price for such board. Microtronix is having nice board but, i don't know how much it is going to cost to ship it to india..... any help is appreciated shiva
