Our problem is that our regulator is in a habit of burning..
The regulator is connected to max232 and the microcontroller Atmega128.. We have connected two capacitors of 470uF..
We have changed the burnt regulator time and again but we dont know where the real problem lies..

MCU has only 1 UART port... then both of the GPS and GSM module is also UART... so u need to create a switching circuit either to chose which device u want to connect.. either GPS or GSM... we are using transstors on that for the switching
As we are using Atmega128 in...
Actually we have to send the AT commands in AVR studio because we are using AVR Atmega128...Kindly help us out because we have an idea of sending AT commands in hyper terminal but facing problems in sending commands in programming..
