So, with same power level of co-channel interference and random noise, the modulated interference will cause less BER than random noise, right? If yes, why?
Is co-channel C/I equivalent to in band SNR?
For example, in Bluetooth spec the co-channel C/I is 11dB. Then, can we regard it as inband SNR=11dB (ignore system noise) and analysis BER according this?
Hi,
I'd like to find and replace some strings in a text file in Linux. It's a condition replace. For example, if there is "X=100" in a line, then replace 111 to aaa in the line. See bellow,
111222333,X=100
111222333,Y=100
111222333,Z=100
I want a script, the script will excute the find and...
Sorry, the simulation files is on the company's workstation and I haven't permisstion to download it. If you need any detailed information about the simualtion setup or the PA circuit I can tell you.
I've designed a class AB PA with simulated output P1dB=26dBm, but the simulated output IP3 is less than 20dBm. Generally, the IP3 is about 10dB over P1dB value. But the IP3 of my PA is less than P1dB!!
Can anyone explain this?
BTW, the PA is a two stage cascode CMOS amplifier and simulation...
The offset frequency of the spur will keep at 200kHz. Just think a 2GHz carrier with a 200kHz frequency modulation. The modulation cycle time is 5ms no mater the signal is divided by 2 or not.
The output power is given by the spectrum analyzer by integrating the power in a specified bandwidth around the center frequency.
The output power in the two-tone test figure is somewhat higher than in the CCK mask figure. Just want to show the impact of the IM5 component.
If IM5 is the cause...
You can find the IMD, CCK mask, and OFDM mask from the attached plot.
From the IMD plot, the IMD5 (marked as 3 in the plot) is too large, which may be the cause of the failure of the CCK specturm mask on the 3rd spectrum peak.
With same output power, OFDM can pass the mask but CCK can't, why?
1. The system meets OFDM spectrum mask but doesn't meet the CCK spectrum mask with 10dBm output power. If reduce the output power to 6dBm it can pass the spectrum mask specification of both OFDM and CCK.
2. In CW mode, the spurs are less than 65dBc, so they should have very little impact on the...
