Hello everybody,
I would like to write some special characters using Add/Text like: ≤,≥,° (alt+243, alt+242, alt+248) but it looks it is impossibe. Is there some easy way how to write text notes using these text characters? Could someone help, please?

Our PCB vendor has sugested to delete unused/unconnected annular rings which are a part of THT pads and vias in inner layers. What are pros and cons for these correction? Is there some risk why we shouldn't allow these ones?

I would like to ask you what are you thinking about holes tolerances marking (for PCB).
For example. If I want hole with max. diameter 0,5mm and min. diameter 0.45mm I usually write it as 0,5 +0/-0,05.
But I saw too 0,5 +0/-0,5 (where -0,5 should meaning 10% from hole diameter)...

2.) solder paste stencil is rather expansive. Before we (PCB department) will order this we need to visually check it. We need to check all pads...

I need to see solder paste and commponent (copper) pad for better check view.I know I can it checking by CAM toll, I do it this way now, but I would like to prefer check it by CadStar before I generate gerber files...

I have got set paste layer above top copper. Both are physical layer 1, I think it is OK. It is selected "Draw shapes in layer order" in display options. And I always haven't got succes with it. When I set Colour / True pad size - NO I can see what...
solder paste in cadstar
Hallo, everybody
I would like to see stencil paste apertures and component pads both. I have this settings: pads RED colour and stencil paste YELLOW. Pads are bigger than solder paste appertures and I can see only red colour (pad) and no yellow colour.
Can anybody help...

Yes - use these, component packages are probably defined into schema...
No - you should download some SMT library for your CAD program or create it by yourself...
