What is the best scheme to combine data encryption and steganography?

It is intended to encrypt raw data using an encryption method and hide the obtained data in a digital image by the means of steganography. 1- Can I use advanced encryption standard (AES) for data encryption and selected least significant bits (SLSB) for steganography? Is it worth working on for...

    Corrugated Waveguide Feed Design

I want to design an x-band corrugated waveguide feed at the central frequency of 10 GHz. If the ridge radius is the same as smooth waveguide radius (2*r1 = 23.83 mm) then based on the balanced condition, the slot radius of aperture (r0) will be: Sm(x1, x0) = 0 x1 = k*r1, x0 = k*r0 (r1 =...

Please Help! genetic Algorithms in the Optimization of Patch Antenna Arrays

I see. If you are familiar with MATLAB, you may not have any problem with "Genetic Algorithm". Actually MATLAB comes with a toolbox for optimization and it has already the function "ga" which works based on genetic algorithm theory. The only important parameter needed for this function is the...

How can the output noise of a circuit which contains Capacitance?

Consider the circuit in the attached picture. R2 and R3 are noiseless. and V1 = (4*k*T*R1*B) if C1 was not in the circuit, it would be possible to use the following equation and calculate the output noise voltage. V0 = R3*V1/(R1 + R2 + R3) However I do not know how to calculate the output...

X Band Regulation (Maximum E.R.I.P or Maximum E.R.P)

Dear volker_muehlhaus , Thanks for replying. I made a mistake describing the system. Here in UK, 10.000 to 10.125 GHz is amateur band and I am using 10.00 to 10.02 GHz. Indeed my supervisor asked me to design a RF transmitter which can provide +0 dBm for the antenna. I have no idea how he...

X Band Regulation (Maximum E.R.I.P or Maximum E.R.P)

Well, to be crystal-clear, I am trying to design a Cassegrain reflector antenna @ 10 GHz. I need this antenna to transmit BPSK modulated data with 50 Mbps data rate. The link is 1 km. This RF link is one part of a hybrid Optical/RF link. The RF link must be sight-to-sight to ensure the security...

X Band Regulation (Maximum E.R.I.P or Maximum E.R.P)

Thanks volker_muehlhaus, But I am not still sure that 400W is true for a sight-to-sight (directive) link. Don't you think that I should consider health safety issues instead of OFCOM regulations?

X Band Regulation (Maximum E.R.I.P or Maximum E.R.P)

Thanks jiripolivka & davenn, So what I realized from your replies, is that, there is no regulation for amateur bands. I mean everyone can use it in any way that he likes. However if someone wants to use this band, he must accept the interference of other users.

X Band Regulation (Maximum E.R.I.P or Maximum E.R.P)

Hi everyone, I want to design a reflector antenna working at 10 GHz. How can I find the maximum E.I.R.P for this band? I also need the regulations for radiation pattern? If possible give me some reference for that. Please help me.

    Help me with CNR Measurement

Hi Everyone, I want to measure "CNR" parameter of a receiver. I am using a spectrum analyzer which is not able to measure this parameter so I have to do it manually. However I have no idea how to do it! Receiver: Central Frequency: 10 GHz Modulation: BPSK symbol...

    High Frequency Speaker

Thank everyone, Acctually, "zrmotoring", I want to use for some kinds of birds. However I am not sure about the range of frequency and I need to perform some test to specify the frequency range.

    High Frequency Speaker

Hi Everyone, I am working on a project in which I need to produce acoustic waves in range of 20KHz to 80KHz. The main problem here, is to find a speaker able to generate such wave. First of all, Is there such speaker? If yes, please guide me. Thanks in advance.

MFC Classes Problem - how to prevent closing program?

mfc on_ok Hi Everyone! I wrote a Dialog Based program using MFC Classes. I noticed that one can leave the program by pressing 'ESC' or 'Enter' key. I add an event handler to reject these keys but it doesn't work. Please help me. Thanks in advance!
