While working in pd If we have floating and undriven cells , what should we do before removing it. ?
As we dont know what the design is going to do how can we remove them?

In magma which are the cells we will "force keep" and which are the cells we will "force hide" it.
And which stage of desgin we do this?
And above two commands will be applicable only for cells or it can be done for all objects.

Hi mainly perl will be used for pattern matching (regular expression).
First learn #!/usr/local/bin/perl
open and close files
pattern matching
$_ $ / and &_ (perl built variables)

But still I have one doubt where does the term phy. synthesis will be used I feel that from fplanning to routing.Please correct me if i am wrong.
Previously there is an answer as it starts from rtl code.

Semicustom means already prepared macros(Hard) will be used inside our presently developing layout.Rest of the design will be having standard cells.It will be used only for digital.
Full custom means developing the chip without any predeveloped macros.Mainly from transistot level.
