floating and undriven cells

While working in pd If we have floating and undriven cells , what should we do before removing it. ?
As we dont know what the design is going to do how can we remove them?

If you wanna remove them, you needn't do anything, because the synthesis tool will remove it automatically.
 

synthesis tool won't remove undriven and floating cell unless you set right command or variable:|.
 

I'm sorry, maybe I mix the default situation.
