Mosfet parameters
I have some questions about mosfet parameters:
1) Threshold Voltage:depends on channel length L (with a fixed process technology)? If the same process technology is used, threshold voltage changes with L or not?
2)channel length modulation: if the same process technology and...
Re: Electron mobility
I Know:
K'=u*C'ox
with
u=electron mobility [cm^2/V*sec]
C'ox= gate capacitance/unit area [F/cm^2]
K'*W/L=beta
I'm wrong?If no, C'ox not depends on W/L....can you help me?
Electron mobility
I'm not sure if this is the right place.....
I want to calculate K'=u*Cox of mosfet...i don't understand why it depends on W and not only on L.....u=Vdrift/e with e=electric field=V/L : if V is the same and L increases, than u increases...but, what is its relationship with W...
analog filter design
I want to realize a simple analog low-pass first order filter in matl ab, but i waant also obtain time domain output if an input signal is present. So:
1)input time domain signal is realized with an array of values (i'm not using symbolic)
2)fft of input signal: i consider...
This is my circuit: i have used ideal voltage sources instead current mirrors to reduce problems...My circuit satisfy all requirements except the great offset voltage (this is represented in picture). In saturation.jpg i have rapresented Vsd-Vsg+|Vp| of Q5 and Q7: so when this value is greater...
I wanted to design folded cascode opamp in picture...
I have used allen's book: with his method i obtain a great gain, but a very bad offset. To reduce offset usually i reduce W of cascode load (L is fixed in my project), but Voutmin is also reduced...how can i obtain the same gain with little...
Help on output stage
I have simulated a class A push-pull amplifier, but i don't understand
what i've obtained...
In a class A push pull the maximum current in load is Imax=2*Iquies;
so if load is R//C :
1)Voutmax=R*Imax
2)slewrate=Imax/C
Is it right?
If i use as load only R, the first...
enob 1.76
Thanks of help...

resolution enob
Thanks for infos and link,
i know its definition, but i try to understand its pratical meaning...after reading, i understand that two definition of enob exist: with and without quantization error (correct me if i'm wrong). I think that enob is equivalent to snr (if all sources...
I have some doubts about enob definition:
1)Is it correct to define enob as signal to (quantization) noise of an adc expressed in db?
2)For example, if a 20 bit adc has enob equal to 18 bit: what does it mean?
Thanks
I have some problems with this script written i mat alab...
1) i make a sampled sinusoidal waveform (with sampled frequency greather then twice sinusoidal frequency), then use fft command
2)cut values obtained at frequency greather then nyquist frequency (i want simulate an ideal low-pass filter...
Output stage
I want to implement this class Ab output stage, but i want to use it as class A amplifier, so maximum current on load is 4 times the quiescent current. I have some problems to calculate efficiency on this push-pull output stage...what's wrong?
thanks
I have another question....
i should design as homework a transimpedance amplifier for a photodiode: i can choose any application, but i haven't find any useful (and simpler) application. I
thought about a gas sensor, but seems difficult because the time between radiation absorption and...
I don't understand how this circuit works
In allen's book, it is used to measure cmrr but i don't understand how it works...i don't understand why Vicm is the common mode voltage for opamp under test...the common mode voltage is ((V+)+(V-))/2 and not the voltage applied to Vdd,Vss,Vout...can you...
