I'm not sure if the following is what you're looking for. Just try it and let us know if it's ok!
See the "HFSS" menu, go in "Fields" sub-menu and click on "Edit Soruces". There you can modify the properties of the sources, also add phase differences
I'm sorry kbmanick, unfortunately i know nothing about ie3d :(
If it is possible, you may try to use HFSS; your problem seems to be solved through it...
But I do not guarantee :)
Take care ;)
hfss etotal ephi etheta
Could you please tell, which simulator you use??
Assuming you are an HFSS user, unfortunately first you should express theta and phi components of E-field in terms of cartesian coordinate system.
Then write the resultant equation that you want to solve into "Field...
how to export far field data hfss
Hi Zottiri Kusuta,
Now I have to solve a similar problem that you had... Could you obtain a solution?? If so, can you share the solution with me, please??
Else, is there anyone who can help us?
The point is the following:
After obtaining any distribution...
error code 1054
We, the poor users of HFSS, all wanted to own "a book pertaining to the code error of HFSS" :)
The book is here brantyu, edaboard ;)
Please let us know if you solved the problem, and what the solution is, if you solved it.
Well, I met this kind of errors several times. It's unfortunately very hard to estimate what the real problem is.
Let me suggest you to add a "surface approximation" to the circular/cylindrical/spherical objects. This is how I overcame a "Recovering discrete solution" situation...
Let me know...
lack of precision hfss
This problem must be arising due to restricted frequency range. Entering the start and stop frequencies, while adding a sweep to a solution setup, a frequency range is being defined. If HFSS detects that there are modes out of this range, it gives a "lack of precision"...
lumped element hfss
Hi,
Actually i'm new to this forum; so the reply may be late :(
To assign a Lumped RLC,
* create a sheet, where you assign this lumped element (you need to execute "detach faces" under 3d modeler, surfaces)
* right click on the sheet you created:
-Assign boundary > Lumped...
