ethernet controller
hi,
i am designing an ethernet controller with using "davicom DM9000A". but there is a difference between all other ethernet controllers and davicom. on the ethernet transformer side all the other controllers does not have any connection to the CT pin of the transformer but...
if you can construct your own circuit Analog Devices "AD722" RGB to NTSC/PAL encoder IC can be useful for you. if you have opportunity to construct it you should try it.

Hi guys, i have a question about pattern recognition. here is the question:
P(x/W1)=1/9 for 1≤x1≤4 and 1≤x2≤4; 0 otherwise
P(x/W2)=1 for 2≤x1≤3 and 2≤x2≤3; 0 otherwise
a)draw the decisionregions
b)develop the classication strategy
c)compute theclassificationerror
Can you pleasehelp me about...
i want to measure how much an EL lamp consumes current. it works with 100VAC and lamps equivalent is a capacitor. i want to learn the way to measure the current.
regards.

well as i know lcd modules are generally use parallel communication. manufacturerers make them serial by using registers inside the module. may be this is the reason why the controllers supports parallel communication. they take the data serially and then a serial to parallel register...
hi, i dont know where to post this topic. sorry if it is not suitable for here...
i am looking for serial LCDs but they are very expensive. if anybody knows something about the prices (cheap ones-may be 10 dollars) can you please help me.
Telecommunication
i agree with proakis but i think haykin is for higher levels. for the beginners proakis is much more useful and also you can use grant&glover.
phone line has two cables red and green. red one is negative and green one is positive. they are also called tip(green) and ring(red).
the ringing signal can vary between 40-150VAC and average frequency 20 Hz. in europe it is 25Hz.
on the other hand central office gives you a dc signal which is...
with the monostable you can use just one position. high level or low level. if you have low level you can use high level for once accordind to your input signal. you can vary the time for the high level by using a rc circuit. time is proportional with "r*c".
