[PIC] PIC16F877A produces an output voltage of only2.5 to 3 v not 5v when progrmed to high

Is it only one pin? The reason could be program not work, and you have tri state outputs, pin not set to be output - how about TRIS? pin source too much current, pin oscilate and you measure DC. solutions: show us your soft, measure pin state with AC - while oscilating there will be voltage...

Ultra Low power design with level shifting 1.8v - 3v

Some time ago I have searched and I failed with proper chip solution. I am not sure if you calculated, but your battery will be able to power 74LVC chip (only) for about 4 months...

P MOSFET as a switch. LTSPICE simulation

What does it mean "can't get simulating" LTSpice simulation don't work, or simulation is not like you want? I am not sure what you would like to get, but in your circuit you should connect any resistor between Vout and GND - it could be very high - 10^12 or more, to allow LTSpice to calculate...

Ultra Low power design with level shifting 1.8v - 3v

Some time ago I had similar problem. Finally I have decided to increase volt level for transmision. This solution I have finished on the simulation stage, but I think you could adopt mos level shifter (schematic from google) with quite high resistor and 1.8 or even 1.2 V transistors it should...

    Problem with etching PCB

I am not sure from your photo if there is sediment in your tank. Similar etch problems could be when your solutions cease to be acidic. If you have sediment there is insouble Fe(OH)3. The result solution stop etch. to solve problem add HCl and H2O2

How difficult it is for hobbyist to work with SMD packages?

With experience 0402, TSSOP TQFP. I have colleague who solder small count BGA !!! with simple soldering iron. The main rule is – if you could see part, you can solder it ;) The most important question is what would be experience of people you work for. - - - Updated - - - 0603 it is standard...

    Problem with Battery power...

For LiIon bateries internal resistance is about 20 mohm (poor battery, asume 50 mohm), so if you get 1A there wll be 50mV drop!!! You are still much above 3.2V. For two batteries in series you lose a lot of power for voltage cut off - your 3 hour it is very good result. To check if it is...

    Keypad problem with pic18f452

I don't recognize language you use, but to set column value you should use Lat not Port, and then read Port

    Problem with Battery power...

in theory everything is fine. in practice there are parasite elements. Assume you have long wires, dirt contact etc. and there is serial resistance. For calculation assume 1 ohm, with standby current it is 30mV volt drop, while in transmission stage (for instance initialisation) with 1A current...

    [PIC] pH Meter Value Conversion

measurement results are OK. your assumption in simulations are wrong. I think you should read about pH electrodes. The best google show it is **broken link removed**

    [PIC] pH Meter Value Conversion

First of all could you explain phisical phenomena of -480 (minus !) mV change in signal between pH 7 and 8? and why 0 pH (very strong acid) should be between 7 pH (neutral) and 14 (alkaline)? According to your circuits #19 post one is the worst you have presented so far. Especially RV6 is...

    Problem with Battery power...

From first look it should work until Vin > 3.2V (Vout + Vdropout max) First of all check if you have voltages - there could be overcurrent or overtemperature shutdown. Check PWRGD pin state. Assune you haven't SHDN float. The most common problem it is voltage drop on bat connections while high...

    [PIC] pH Meter Value Conversion

please read carefully what you have written in last post. mid scale of pH probe it is 0V for 7 pH !!! not +420 mV for 7 pH. in fact you have difference between simulation and real world. answer what is the reason depends on what is the circuit. element values, component tolerances etc. - - -...

    [PIC] pH Meter Value Conversion

let's reverse question. what voltage would you get for 10 pH? do you remember that mid range point (0V) it is 7 i pH scale? According to pictures. Assume that I have sent you answer #11 in opj format. Would it be usable for you? Answer is - any format readable with a few clicks. Except you...

    [PIC] pH Meter Value Conversion

Your data can not be explained with physical phenomena. Please do explain - If you get 1V what does it mean - it will be 4 or 10 pH ??? As it was written in another thread If you would like sb to see your circuit present it in readable format.....
