i need to connect a detector section with a jammer section. for that i need to convert an ac sine wave into a square wave. again i want to provide the same input to the square wave generator even though the detector section is switched off.

how to store voltage?
i need to activate a VCO whose input is from a F/V converter. when the VCO gets ON then the F/V ckt turns OFF. i want that though the output of F/V ckt is OFF i cud supply the desired voltage to the VCO.
