It will be easy .. if you can tell, what tool you have .... fsdb2vcd is one utility where you can covert it to vcd .... so that any waveform viewer will support it ..
Fsdb is fast signal database ... Compare to all waveform dump ... it will be fast and takes very less space .... In my experience it took 30% of size normal dump and completed test with 20% more time than with no dump... You need to have debussy or nWave or Verdi or Siloti toold to view waveform...
Hey u can compare with verdi(nCompare tool)... if ur hierarchy matches in both the data bases..... they have tcl script where u can define ur rules ..like compare specific signals .... adding required delays to RTL signal .... You can refer nCompare user guide
Re: verdi problem
Hi,
Try to use include option and point to include file directory
+incdir+<directory_name>
Specify the search path for files used by the `include
statement.

Re: USB 3.0 Share Ideas
I know about usb2.0 had three years of experience ....
My intention people should know differences between 2.0 & 3.0 at architecture level
Like Involved LTSSM & mostly changed in protocol layers ....
Different transfers ....
Its ok I gained enough knowledge on usb3.0
$fsdbdumpvars
try to point to LD_LIBRARY_PATH to ius8.1 ..... which will available in verdi directory
Added after 1 minutes:
your using debussy very old version ...... not even verdi ........
the verdi 2009.01 version contains ius8.1 .......
