Re: scheme for DC UPS
Tell us the DC magnitude of de output of your UPS first of all.
you can do the battery charguer and maybe you will have to build a converter if you want a regulable output voltage.
You must include protecion circuits (over current and over voltage in the input)
Give us...
Hi
The TLC0838 is a very different ADC because have a serial output vs paralel output of ADC0820 and ADC0820 is faster than TLC0838.
A alternative for ADC0820 can be ADC0808 or faster one.

Hi
The problem with the idea that bring Mr. Khurram Shahzad is that you can't know when the wave is positive or negative because the output of the rectifier is the same wave.
Remember that ADC module of PIC microcontrollers only can work with signals 5v peak to peak and Vref+...

Hi markdem
For measure the AC voltage you can do this procedure using the transformer:
The output of the transformer you must connect to a potentiometer as voltage divider
the output of this you can put into a summer with operational amplifier.
(you can feed this opamp...
Hi ronzam2002
In the DAC080X datasheet is shown the next typical configuration.
You can see the diferential input for this ADC, then you must connect pin 6 of the ADC in the output of LM35 and pin 7 to ground.
For more Information see the datasheet

wow...Very interesting material
I wish to design one ECG that show in a lcd display the waveforms with a microcontroller.
When a have some time i will do it
Thanks for all

Hi
Wandering in Google i can found this

the fastest bipolar transistor....More than 1THz
And in this page talk about the new CMOS tecnology for make the fastest CMOS transistors

project ideas in power electronics
You Can make a DC-DC Converter with a H-Bridge and get a variable Voltage in the output (and you can control motor's velocity).
The hardest on this proyect is the control circuit for the transistors (Power MOSFETs are the best candidates) but you can use a...
You also can review the next link
This is for Digital circuit analysis and desing by Nelson
in format pdf, separated chapter a chapter
This book is a real alternative for morris mano, an you can study with both books
I hope this book can help you
Re: DC analysis
For DC analisys you must remember that the capacitors don't permit circulation of DC current. Therefore you must erase the parts of circuit that contain capacitors.
Solve the problem considering the condensors are a Resistancen with infinity value
You must calculate ID with...
Re: op-amp
Because is impossible obtain a upper voltage than the supply
In practice, the maximun voltage is 1 to 2 volts less than the supply, this is the limit
in this state the op-amp is saturated. If you conect a upper voltage in the input, the output no change, this propiety is very...
Re: sine wave generator
I haven't the circuit but the idea is put a band-pass filter in the output of the 555 (pin 3) when this is in astable configuration
Re: rectifier
Other Reason is that Full wave rectifier Needs a Center-Tapped (Three outputs) Transformer whitch is more expensive than the common one needs for the bridge rectifier.
The operational amplifier is a circuit with a high open loop gain, High input resistance and low output resistance...
There are op-amps with:
Differential input and single output
Single input and differential output
Differential input and differential output
Single input and single...
