learn karnaugh

Hello, have downloaded some ebooks on Digital Electronics, and i am stuck on karnaugh Maps sections everywhere, i cannot find any book or manual in the net, which thoroughly explains how to create karnaugh map from truth table, can anyone help me in finding such good manual?
thanks

hi
for 3 variables make 2*4 table
bc/a 0 1
00
01
11
10

put the value of the function in that table
for example f= AB
bc / A 0 1
00 0 0
01 0 0
11 0 1
10 0 1

for 4 variables:
ab/cd 00 01 11 10
00
01
11
10

if u have an eample i could solve it to u

look in Digital Design by Morris Mano

its thoroughly explained in moris mano`s book!!

You also can review the next link

This is for Digital circuit analysis and desing by Nelson
in format pdf, separated chapter a chapter

This book is a real alternative for morris mano, an you can study with both books

I hope this book can help you

Hello, i can help you step by step if u need, just draw the truth table and we will solve it ;)

well moris mano's book explains it well........its not enough resources from the basics but even though it could be easily understandable from that book..

There are also free softwares
example: h**p://emp.byui.edu/fisherr/Software_Downloads.htm
it is a FREE K-Map Software: Works for up to 8 variables.
attached is the pdf file to this software.
you can use it at least to check your results
I am sure you can find others if you do a small search
good luck
