Re: security system
Rather than ink, just coat the paper with a chemical. The chemical could do any of the following:
*Absorb heat better than paper
*Change color when heated, and then change back when cooled
*Conducts electricity
*Several of the following to make the system more secure.
*Use...
I got the LCM-X12232GXX graphic LCD, but the documentation is really minimal. I got it hooked up to a microcontroller, but can't get it to work. I hooked up DB0~DB7, CL,and E to the microcontroller, grounded everything else except for VDD and Ao. Then I had the microcontroller output high to...
There's a nice kit from radioshack. I learned my electronics from it. Be sure the read the section in the front about reading the electrical circuit symbols and diagrams on p 13 of Workbook 1. You don't need to learn it to understand the book, but it's a skill that will come in handy. Test...
breadboard pushbutton
What type of mounting would I want for a pushbutton if I need it to be breadboard friendly. You can see the list at https://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Criteria?Ref=316172&Site=US&Cat=34341891
RFID
Is there an RFID transceiver that has a range of about 10cm? Is there a cheap and small programmable microprocessor? Are there any sample circuits for these? What would be a good and cheap USB RF transciever?
I've been looking at datasheets for the MAX232N and the PIC18LF2620. They don't make any sense to me. Is there something that would teach me how to use those in english, not electronic jargon? I would appreciate it if you would hurry with the answers, i need them by 8 AM tomorrow
Thank You :D
Unfortunately, my heart-attack watch idea isn't allowed for the Christopher Columbus competition, for all of those who read my earlier post. But I'll still do it independently. For the Chris. Col. I'm doing something with RFID tagging, but I'll either have to buy a USB RFID reader for $500...
