Delay/log(Vin) for a comparator?
How to calculate Delay/log(Delta-Vin) for a comparator?
There is an example in attachement . how they determine delta-Vin?
Why is the unit ps/dec?
dick_freebird, thank you.
I applied a proper common mode voltage, so the comparator can compare right now.
I re-simulated the proposed circuit in paper "Analysis and Design of a Low-Voltage Low-Power Double-Tail Comparator". kick back noise has been reported 43 mv while in my simulation is more...
Hello all,
In my searches, the below method is used to calculate kickback noise.(Rth=8kohm; according to the this paper "Kickback Noise Reduction Techniques for CMOS Latched Comparators"]
My simulation doesn't show sensible results. I mean, when I apply this method, the comparator does not...
Hello
Is there any technique to design transistors widths in a comparator?
how can I determine the transistors sizes for the comparator that I attached?
I would be very thankful if you could suggest tutorials or book.
Thanks in advance
Latched-only Comparator specifications
Hello
I want to measure specification of a latched-only comparator.
How can I determine Clock frequency of that?
How can I measure offset ?
Is it correct to measure Gain and Unity gain freq. ?(cause we have positive feedback!)
thanks in advanced
let's make it easier
I have a comparator , but it doesn't compare. I mean by changing input (vn>vp to vn<vp), output should change, but it doesn't.
what's the problem? :bang:
I tested it with Proteus. it was okay, but in Hspice it doesn't work.
Please Help me
Hello all
After many hours searching and reading the tutorials for offset calculation, I don't know what should I do.
here is my codes. please help me to complete it.I don't understand how to write codes for DCMATCH or monte carlo simulation and how to extract the information.
what do these...
why harmonics and inter-modulation are important(or appear) at high freq. but not at medium or low freq. ???
don't we have them at medium or low freq. ???
I afraid I couldn't understand yet!!
you mean at high frequency, devices have to work on more speed and if they don't have enough slew rate it causes distortion.yes?
But is it the only reason for every devices?
what else do you think?
what about inter-modulations? what about the importance of...
Hello
Why is said that "Distortion usually increases with frequency" ?
and
what is the importance of SNR over SNDR? I mean that why they use these to concept ?
thanks:grin:
HI
I am using atmega8 and I have finished the program. I have used 8 adc channel.
Now I would like to change mega8 with a micro-controller with 32 channel adc (I'm using codevision).
Hello
I am working on this circuit as a homework.
I don't know how to see the IIP3 curve in ADS.
I have 2 question while working with "IIp3 symbol":
1:How should I define "harmonic frequency indices for the fundamental frequency" for my circuit?
2:How should I define "harmonic frequency indices...
